A place for concerned residents
A place for concerned residents

Like you, we're frustrated with not having our voices heard. We're frustrated about the elevator. We're angry about the lack of communication. And we're livid in a management that says "no" to everything... issues fines at random, issues rules that stop community, makes decisions in a vacuum, and doesn't seem to care about the residents. We're confused about the role of Hawkeye. Confused about why we can't have a bulletin board or a BBQ party. Dozens of suggestions to lower fees/offset costs. None were acknowledged.
We have a path forward. Our core group has been meeting for six months, working through every issue, finding new solutions, and asking questions. It's time for a new wave that responds to residents and focuses on community.
Let us have plants. Let us have opening windows. Let us have community parties. Take suggestions seriously when residents make them. Do something about the pool. Consider elevator funding suggestions. Stop the band aid fixes.
We are looking for a New Wave at The Island Club.
Join us. The ship is sinking.
